Requirement Clarifications and Adjustments
1. Please see recent WAG PM Circular 14/.2016 (13/05/2016) for updates and
corrections for Level 7 – 10 .
2. VAULT TABLE HEIGHTS
Level 7 -10 A choice of vault height us permitted :
1.10 mts OR 1.25 mts
3. BEAM : With regards to the requirement of a minimum of 2 Acro & 2 Dance
elements for Level 7 and 3 Acro & 3 Dance elements for Level 8-10
In the FIG Code it is indicated that Mounts with a “D” may be considered as
Dance
elements - it does not necessarily follow that those without a “D” are
considered
acro skills. Only rolls / handstand held elements / and acro type elements will
count
in the required 3 Acro skills.
Example ..
 Squat through to v lift or back support is not an acro skill
 Jump to clear straddle support is not an acro skill
 Jump to clear straddle support, press to handstand - hold 2 sec = Acro

INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS - FIRST HALF OF 2016
Austrian Open
Caitlin Rooskrantz, Naveen Daries, Caitlyn Kelly, Paige McElligot compete in this competition and
place 7th out of 15 teams.
African Championships
SENIOR: Claudia Cummins finishes second overall and Kirsten Beckett finishes third overall. The
senior team finishes second behind Egypt, with Claudia winning a silver medal on vault and bars, and
the bronze medal on beam & floor. Lukisha Schalk wins a silver medal on beam and Kirsten wins gold
on vault, bronze on bar and silver on floor.
JUNIOR: Caitlin Rooskrantz finishes second and Naveen Daries finishes third overall. The junior team
finishes second overall behind Egypt, with Caitlin winning a gold on bar, silver on beam and a bronze
on floor. Naveen wins a bronze on vault and a silver on floor.
March Cottbus World Challenger Cup:
Angela Maguire competed in this competition.
April Croatia World Challenger Cup:
Kirsten Beckett and Lukisha Schalk competed in this competition. Kirsten made the vault and floor
final, placing 4th and 8th respectively.
June Portugal World Challenger Cup:
Bianca Mann set to compete in this competition.
