The Club Offers free “The Smurf 2” Movie Tickets
to attract Bluish Smart Family Photos
Hong Kong, 19 July, 2013 – Powered by MetLife**, the Club announces today the launch of
I Love “BLUE” Smart Family Photo Contest. From now until 18 August 2013, the Club
invites both its members and non-members to share their family photos while earning
themselves a chance to win free Smurf 2 tickets, a family portrait package, a family
cupcake class and other gifts throughout the summer.
Ms. Marie Yung, Head of Marketing and Communications of MetLife, said, “Summer is
always the season when parents and kids spend the most time together during the year.
From time to time the Club organizes activities for Hong Kong families to promote quality
family time. This summer, we’ve specially arranged the ‘I Love BLUE’ family photo contest,
with a special screening of “The Smurfs 2”* (releases on Aug 1) as early bird prizes,
followed by many other fabulous prizes. Also, Smurfs will come down to greet everyone at
the special screening!
To enter the photo contest, the parent simply captures a happy moment with his family and
kid with a touch of the color blue or having Smurfs in the photo. Then it’s just a matter of
uploading the photo to the designated website. The first 50 participants, who have also
become newly registered members of the Club can take home three tickets of Special
Screening of “The Smurfs 2”. A panel consisting of professional photographers and a
MetLife representative has been formed to adjudicate The Club’s “Blue” award. A poll will
soon be open for the public to vote for “The Most Liked Smart Family Photo Award”. The
contest winners will get free cinema gift vouchers, a free family portrait package and
supermarket shopping coupons.
“We all want to keep and share good memories of our families. We believe “I Love BLUE”
Smart Family Photo Contest will give parents a platform to share their treasured moments
with their loved ones, especially added with a lovely color blue”. Ms. Yung remarked.

Over 300 tickets are here for the winners. Results will be announced on 23 August, 2013 in
both the websites of the Club (www.magic.metlife.com.hk) and MetLife

In this sequel to the hybrid live action/animated family blockbuster comedy The Smurfs, the evil
wizard Gargamel creates a couple of mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties that he

Naughties into real Smurfs, Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and brings her to Paris, where he has

Grouchy, and Vanity to return to our world, reunite with their human friends Patrick and Grace
Winslow, and rescue her! Will Smurfette, who has always felt different from the other Smurfs, find a
new connection with the Naughties Vexy and Hackus or will the Smurfs convince her that their
love for her is True Blue? Returning cast includes Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Katy Perry as
Smurfette and Hank Azaria as Gargamel. Brendan Gleeson joins the cast as Victor Winslow.
