What do we learn in this passage that bring Paul joy?
In verses 12-13 Paul says you are to "work out your salvation" because God "works in
you." How are these ideas related?

What kind of balance are you trying to come to in your own personal life between
“working out” your Christian life (vs. 12), and allowing God “to will and to work” in you?
(vs 13)

Who might you be tempted to impress during the next few days? What act of humble
service could you do for this person instead?

Go around and affirm one another.
