Keep your eyes open at all times
And always be sure to watch your back
you just got one you and you don’t wanna leave your family
sad and blue if you walking around dust or chemical vapors
always remember to wear your respirators if you don’t play
it safe you should be injured or worse that’s why we gotta
follow the rules and keep safety first

Every day when we walk thru the gate we gotta get the job
done but we gotta be safe when you hear me rapping safety
please don’t be ignoring me cuz being safe is the number
one priority use your brain utilize your mind never go inside
a tank without reading the signs we gotta stay alert with no
hesitation never go inside a tank without the proper
ventilation when the safety team talk hey hey you better
listen always evaluate hazardous conditions being safe in
the yard you should never neglect and if you walking on the
ship watch for holes in the deck being safe in the yard is
how it’s going down if you’re on a wooden ladder make
sure its tied down to all these safety rules you better take
heave cause injury or death is something we don’t need

gotta stay focused and keep our eyes open cuz an accident
can happen in a minute and it’s our job to keep accidents

continue to follow the rules so I don’t get hurt our main
goal is accident reduction that’s why we pay attention and
follow instructions the company is gone stay on our case
cause they want an accident free work place just remember

The shipyard is a dangerous place we need to recognize this
every single day we face to build subs and ships is what
we’re here for but at the same time we must remember to
soar the S to the O to the A to the R will surely take you far
inside the shipyard protect yourself I hope you understand
it never take nothing in the yard for granted being safe in
the yard is how we gotta roll we gotta recognize evaluate
plus control you need your ears to hear and your eyes to
see so never forget to wear your PPE we gotta work safe its
simple and plain watch out for lifts also moving cranes cuz I
ain’t trying to get crunched like a pringle I’m here to work
