Los Angeles Unified School District Multilingual & Multicultural Education Department Feb/Mar 2015 2nd Semester Updates Dual Language/Bilingual Programs Dual Language Program Videos With the five TLD Prototype Schools, the APOLO/DL Office has conducted introductory parent meetings school site teacher support meetings on TLD Proficiency Targets and Can Do statements On a recent visit to Alexander Science Center, we observed TLD lessons interviewed students using the MOPI protocol from ACTFL As expected, the students were right on target with our proposed proficiency targets for EO/FEPs in the SDLP We look forward to visiting the rest of the Prototype Schools this semester. Welcome Aboard Norma España! We are excited to welcome our new Secondary DLP Specialist, who has been with us since January 12 to support our Secondary Dual Language Programs.
