The New York Health Care Alliance is a network of 49 post acute
health care facilities providing a continuum of high quality care for patients who need sub-acute care and rehabilitation.
The Direct Link is a patient placement service which provides Case
Managers and Discharge Planners with expert support and direct
access to over 12,000 skilled nursing, sub-acute and rehabilitation
beds. NYHCA members are contracted with all major health plans.
The patient placement service provided by the New York Health

Kings Park, NY – May 15, 2007 – St. Johnland Nursing Center will
participate in a “Wish Comes True” program sponsored by State Bank
of Long Island to fulfill the wishes and needs of individual residents.
The residents of St. Johnland Nursing Center have been the recipients of the generosity of several programs offered by State Bank of
Long Island. The “Wish Comes True” program allows the wishes and
needs of individual residents to be fulfilled and is underwritten by the
Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation, which also sponsors the
Senior Crimestoppers Program. State Bank of Long Island provides
direct grant assistance which allows instructors from the Art League of
Long Island to come to St. Johnland once a week.
St. Johnland provides skilled nursing care with specialties in Alzheimer’s/dementia care, head injury and subacute care. They also provide home health care and adult day care.

Dr. Sandra Selikson has joined Beth Abraham Health Services as Medical Director and Vice President of Medical Services, announced Beth Abraham Administrator, Margaret Rivers. Dr. Selikson
brings more than 25 years of distinguished medical and administrative experience and expertise, garnered at some of the nation’s leading medical centers, hospitals and nursing facilities.
“Beth Abraham Health Services is indeed fortunate to welcome a physician of such eminent stature,
talent and ability as Dr. Selikson to our community of caregivers,” states Ms. Rivers. “Her impressive
abilities span both the clinical and the administrative, effectively balancing and blending the two areas
with sensitivity and a singular purpose: to provide the best possi-ble care for our residents.”
Diana Gross, RN, a respected long-term health care professional with more then two decades of experience as a front line care giver and as a dynamic and staff-empowering administrator, also joins the
Beth Abraham team as vice president of clinical services.
“Diana Gross is a true care-giver, a gifted nursing professional and a respected and innovative administrator and we are delighted to welcome her into the Beth Abraham family,” states Ms. Rivers. “Hers
is an awesome task and responsibility, overseeing and working with a nursing staff of some 500 to
provide comprehensive, round-the-clock care for more than 400 residents of Beth Abraham Heath
Services.”
