Week
Please ensure you are
checking folders on a
nightly basis and
removing notices. This
way we know you have
received them.
Thank you
Last Tuesday the Prep children made paper planes. They all had fun
learning to fold the planes and racing them with their friends. The
paper plane experience was our writing topic that week and the races
also helped the students to learn about ordinal numbers in a fun way!
7 HABITS AT HOME
The Parktone
Community has
learnt a lot
about the 7 Habits and we are
learning how to
apply
these habits at school and in our daily
lives. The ideas included here are to
help your family use these habits at
home.
Body language can be even more important than words. Play a game with
your kids where you each try to guess
the
other’s emotion (happy, sad, angry,
frustrated, bored, etc.) without using
any words, just body language.
Congratulations to our
Stars of the Week!

SCIENCE FACT
Week 8
Did you know that babies are born
with more bones than adults and
the right half of the brain controls
the left side of our body muscles,
and the left controls the right.
