Stage 2-Crocodile Youth
(2-8 years)
Crocodiles grow and
learn to hunt on their
own.
Stage 3-Adult Crocodile
Reptile: A group of scaly-skinned, cold blooded animals
that includes lizards, snakes, tortoises, turtles,
crocodiles and aligators. Most reptiles lay eggs and
always on dry land.
Predator: An animal that hunts other animals
Crocodiles become an
adult between 8-10 years
old. An adult male is a
huge creature and
measures 6m long. It is
one of the largest reptiles
in the world. They are
fierce predators.
