energyXT2.5 Plus includes all of the features of
energyXT2.5, plus:
œœ ReWire-Energizer function support, neatly
hosts and controls ReWire compatible
applications such as Reason or Ableton Live
œœ 2 GB extra-high speed USB flash drive
included (instead of 1 GB included with
energyXT2.5)
As an added bonus, energyXT2.5 Plus comes with
an extra gigabyte of storage space on the included
high-speed USB flash drive, for a total of 2 GB. That
should give you more than enough room for even
the largest project files. Of course, energyXT2.5
Plus is already installed on the USB drive and
ready for deployment on whatever computer
you choose.

The energyXT2.5 Plus edition includes
technology to expand ReWire compatible
devices (such as Reason Virtual Studio Rack or
ProTools) with audio recording, VST instruments
and effects. energyXT2.5 Plus is the fastestlaunching ReWire master solution for your favorite
ReWire software, providing super-flexible audio
and MIDI routing of ReWire instruments, support
for multi-channel audio, and up to 128 MIDI to
bus/channel mapping.
energyXT2.5 Plus, providing serious tools for
serious artists, giving you the power to Create
Music Now!
Not only can you stream audio and MIDI data
in real time between ReWire compatible
applications with energyXT2.5 Plus, but you
can also synchronize the transport functions to
play, stop and move the playback cursor in both
programs simultaneously. Or, if you wish, you
can opt to use the fully-fledged sequencer inside
energyXT2.5 Plus.
Note: Only one ReWire VST can be loaded at
one time.
œœ ReWire VST is located inside the energyXT
folder, in the ReWire VST folder (you can select
either the Mac or Win version).
œœ The read-me file called “about.pdf” is also
located in the ReWire VST folder, which
explains how ReWire VST works.
œœ ReWire VST can be selected from inside
energyXT2.5 Plus as well.
About ReWire VST
œœ ReWire VST works on Windows and Mac OS X,
but not on Linux.
œœ ReWire VST is a virtual instrument for VST
compatible hosts, and is installed as a VST
Plug-in in the VST Plug-ins folder of the
target application.

Installing
Copy the ReWire VST plug-in into
your VST plug-ins folder.
Quick-Start
œœ Open the ReWire VST as any
other VST instrument in your
host application.
œœ Select the ReWire device from the
drop-down menu.
œœ Select the instrument to play back.
Each instrument mapping has its
own MIDI channel. The first mapping
is on MIDI channel 1, the second is
on MIDI channel 2, and so on.
