5712-54X CPLD Updater Instruction
1.
Just one command (either in ONIE rescue mode or ONIE update mode) is
needed as below:
ONIE:/ # update_url
tftp://192.168.3.99/AS5712_v666_20150709.jbc.updater
※Note that the 192.168.3.99 is the IP address of the TFTP server. Please
make sure 5712-54X eth0 can access TFTP Server.
2.
Confirm all three CPLD version number fields are 6:
ONIE:/ # for i in 0x60 0x61 0x62; do i2cget -y 0 ${i} 0x1; done

Done!
※ For 5712-54X ONIE version, the current stable production version is
2014.08.00.05.
※ No matter which ONIE version on 5712-54X, this
“AS5712_v666_20150709.jbc.updater” can always be used to upgrade CPLD
code to version 6.
※ After update, the ONIE version on 5712-54X remains unchanged. Please use
command above to confirm the CPLD code is upgraded.
