Developing Successful Strategies

4th Board Day 2015:
Developing Successful Strategies
Thursday, 22 October 2015, Berne
Board Day 2015 will focus on the development
and implementation of successful strategies.
The core responsibility of the Board of Directors is to provide
leadership in the development and execution of a Strategic Plan.
BPW Switzerland wants to dedicate an entire day to the full
strategic planning process, starting with a round-table of experts
in the morning followed by practical workshops in the afternoon
addressing the key pillars of strategic building.
This unique, first-class program for members and future board
members is a great opportunity to meet senior board members
and experts in strategy!
This Board Day is dedicated to men and women who want to
play an active role in the field of a board of directors or simply
want to better understand the challenges of such assignments.
BPW Switzerland wants to see an increase in the number of
women in boardrooms and is advocating for minimum quotas for
female board members. But this is not enough: BPW Switzerland
is going one step further by offering special training courses for
board or future board members. The reason? The requirements
associated with a board of directors’ assignment are becoming
more and more complex; it needs professionalism, an in-depth
understanding of legal and regulatory conditions as well as the
liability involved. To prepare our interested members for this
demanding role, we hold an annual Board Day and offer specific
finance courses for board members.
Participants have the choice to book the full program (entire day)
or either the morning or the afternoon sessions individually, i.e.
there are three different booking possibilities.
