How to reset your password User Guide MSS SECURITY GROUP OF COMPANIES How to set-up the reset password function in adppayroll In adppayroll you can now reset your password in the event you forget it or for security reasons want to change it. To set up this function you will need to make sure the National Pay Office has a record of a secure personal or work email address for you. In addition, you will need to confirm, if you have forgotten or misplaced, your existing password. The best way to ensure the National Pay Office has a record of your email address is to send an email to [email protected] containing your full name, employee number and contact details. Once received the National Pay Office will register your details in the system and will contact you accordingly. Alternatively, if you don’t have an email address you can call the National Pay Office on 02 9930 4533 to request a new password. Remember to have all your details on hand e.g. employee number as the Pay Office staff member will need to conduct ID verification. Below are the steps you will need to follow to reset your password. If you are simply changing your password for security reasons complete steps 1 to 2. Alternatively, if you want to be able to get sent an email with your password in the event you forget it then you will need to complete steps 1 and 3 through to 8. 1. Log onto my adppayroll via the employee portal via www.msssecurity.com.au or directly by www.myadppayroll.com.au. Enter your client ID, user ID and existing password. 2. Select “Change password” option and then select “Password” tab. Enter your old password, new password and again your new password to confirm it is correct and meets the criteria. Select “Change password” option and then select “Secret questions” tab. Enter your 3 secret questions and answers and then select “save” button. It is important you do this step as your answers to the secret questions are necessary if the system needs to retrieve your password if you have forgotten it. Note make sure you pick questions you’ll easily remember the answers to, for example your favourite football team or your mother’s maiden name. 4. An email from ADP Website will be sent to your registered email address. Follow the instructions and select the link on the email received. This will then allow you to reset your password.
