The facility was built in the 1960’s but was renovated about 5 years ago. The atmosphere is pleasant and park-like. The facilities, especially the restrooms and playgrounds are clean and still look

The Education Code provides school districts the opportunity to remedy
deficiencies found during the Williams review. The county superintendent is
responsible to ensure that any deficiency is remedied within the first eight weeks
of the school term.2 If, it is not remedied, the county superintendent is required to
request that the California Department of Education purchase the needed
textbooks or instructional materials for the school with the purchase treated as a
loan to the district.

Education Code section 1240(i) requires the county superintendent of schools to
enforce the use of state textbooks regularly adopted by the proper authority and
defines sufficient textbooks as each pupil, including English learners, has a textbook
or instructional materials, or both, to use in class and to take home.
