All available data points are managed in a data pool and accessible with MP read/write commands. • This document describes all public data pool values of the device. It's divided into process values and configuration values. • The MP Data-Pool functional profile is specified in the MP Cooperation Documentation. The document is provided to Belimo MP-Partners. • See the technical datasheet T9-MS24A-R..-MPX for technical information about the device itself. In addition, the device provides a calculated and ready-to-use flush function. The Boolean value FlushStatus (ID 20) is derived from the gradient of the VOC content and is set, when the defined threshold value (SensVOCdiffTh, ID 101) is exceeded. It remains true for the duration defined in FlushTime (ID 102). The default values used for SensVOCdiffTh and FlushTime should work for most applications. Tuning the flush function shall be done by increasing/decreasing the parameters and gathering user feedback. Power-on behaviour The initialization of the VOC sensor after power-on takes up to 15 minutes. The value SensVOC (ID 18) remains on 450 during the initialization. All other sensors (temperature, CO 2, humidity) provide immediately actual values. Implementation Remarks Identification The device is available with different sensor combinations (R01 … R08). The connected type can be identified by its series number: Prefix 2 2 Profile Type 1 2 Profile Category 10 10 Type MS24A-R01-MPX MS24A-R02-MPX 2 2 3 4 10 10 MS24A-R03-MPX MS24A-R04-MPX 2 2 5 6 10 10 MS24A-R05-MPX MS24A-R06-MPX 2 2 7 8 10 10 MS24A-R07-MPX MS24A-R08-MPX The master shall check the connected node and limit its read/write queries to existent sensor values. Configuration Configuration data are password protected. The default password is '0000'. 2/3 T9-MS24A-R..-MPX Data-Pool • en • v1.1 • 02.2012 www.belimo.eu MS24A-R..-MPX Timing of MP-Bus queries Data-Pool Values Master implementations typically poll the slaves in cycles (MP1, MP2, MP3, …). Reading all data pool values of this node in one cycle is not recommended, because it would reduce the overall MP-Bus performance. Recommendation: - Check the device type and read out existent sensor values only. - Split up the queries into several cycles (e.g. 3 queries per cycle). - Prevent from reading unused data pool values www.belimo.eu T9-MS24A-R..-MPX Data-Pool • en • v1.1 • 02.2012 3/3
