BUSING – 2016-17
There is certain information that would be helpful for us to have before the school year begins with regard
to transportation. Please complete the form below:
FOR STUDENTS LIVING WITHIN 20 MILES OF THE SCHOOL (excluding Hammonton Bus):
 My child will be riding the bus to and from school every day
 I will be driving my child to and from school the entire school year even though we qualify for busing
and live within 20 miles of the school.
 I will be driving my child to school only the entire school year even though we qualify for busing and
live within 20 miles of the school.
 Due to child care, my child will be getting on/off at the following address:

FOR STUDENTS LIVING IN HAMMONTON OR OVER THE 20 MILE LIMIT:
 My child will be riding the bus provided by Pilgrim for the Hammonton school district and
surrounding area. (There is a fee for this service. Please call the office if you are interested and have
not yet signed up.)
 My child does not qualify for busing. (We live over 20 miles away.)

NOTE: Buses will most likely be running a little late the first week of school. Even so, it is important
that you be at your stop at least 5 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. If your stop is in front of
your home, you still need to be OUTSIDE waiting.
REMEMBER: If your child needs to be a “walker” on a certain day and you have not indicated this
above, you must send in a note in order for us not to put your child on the bus. This is especially
important for the first week of school!
For students who are riding the bus: There will be NO stop changes the first full week of school unless it
is an absolute emergency. (Setting up a child care stop is not considered an emergency nor is having a
stop a couple of blocks from your home.)
