CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF BELLEVILLE Senior Project Manager Engineering and Development Services Department SALARY RANGE: $74,240 to $88,381 per annum HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week The City offers an attractive benefits package GENERAL DUTIES: Reporting to the Manager of Engineering/Deputy Director, Engineering & Development Services, this position is responsible for the design, contract preparation, project management and public liaison of medium to high complexity municipal infrastructure improvement projects including environmental assessments, roads, bridges, sidewalks, intersection improvements, watercourses and storm water management facilities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: University degree in Civil Engineering or other closely related discipline and licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario Minimum of three years related engineering or project management experience (NOTE: different combinations of education and experience may be considered) Proficient with the latest versions of Microsoft Office and engineering design software Familiarity with municipal engineering design guidelines and the Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications as well as the American Waterworks Associations Standards Familiarity with all relevant Federal and Provincial legislation concerning all matters of municipal engineering including the Environmental Assessment Act, Highway Traffic Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Ontario Water Resources Act, Lakes and Rivers Improvements Act, Draining Act, Public Transportation Highway Improvement Act, etc..
