Thank you for your feedback. When comparing the outcomes of this questionnaire with last year we recognise a
more overall positive response in most areas.
We recognise that home learning continues to be an area which is marginally less positive for some parents, with the
issue of too much or too little being a concern. We have recently revised our expectations by indicating tasks that
are ‘expected’ and others that are ‘optional or extension’ tasks.
A small proportion of children do require more support with friendships, understanding behaviour and managing
their emotions. This fits with a national picture of a greater need for counselling services and one that we have
focused on through additional staff training, parent workshops and 1:1 services for specific children. We are planning
to continue this work next year.
