Heating Instructions
Back to Basics...
Our Cure 81 Hams are glazed and baked in store. Our baked
turkeys are baked in a bag to retain their moisture. We then
finish the browning process so your turkey will be golden
brown on the outside, and pink and juicy on the inside. All of
our ham and turkey dinners are ready for you to reheat and
serve. Our side dishes are now prepared and hand packed
in-store the old fashioned way to ensure freshness and the
local flavors you love.
Reheating Instructions...
On the reverse side of this sheet you will find heating
instructions to prepare your turkey or ham dinner. Please
pay attention to the time you will need to preheat and reheat
your ham or turkey. All ovens do not heat the same, so please
check your turkey or ham at 45 minutes to be sure it has
warmed to the correct internal temperature.
If it has not, please check every five minutes until it
reaches the correct internal temperature.
Side Dishes: all sides can be heated in a microwave or
conventional oven to desired temperature.
Our containers are not suitable for use in a
microwave or conventional oven.
Product must be transferred before reheating.
Rolls: Rolls are fully cooked and can be slightly
warmed as desired.
Pie: Pie is fully cooked and can be slightly
warmed as desired.
Baked Turkey
Your turkey has been Baked in a cooking bag to retain moisture. We then
Brown your turkey at our store to make it easy and ready to reheat and serve.
Please Note: Your turkey will have a moist PINK appearance and texture
on the inside because of our cooking bag process.
Heating Conventional Oven:
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350° F.
2. Place browned turkey in oven with foil on top.
3. Warm turkey for approx. 45-50 min.
4. *Check baked turkey at 45 minutes for 180 degrees internal temperature.
If 180 degrees has not been reached, keep checking every 5 minutes.
5. Let stand 15 minutes prior to serving.
Fried SPICY Turkey
Your Fried “Spicy” Turkey has been deep fried and then browned and
finished at store level to
make it easy and ready to reheat and serve.
Please Note: Your Fried “Spicy” turkey has been injected with a
Cayenne marinade which is very spicy when eaten.
Heating Conventional Oven:
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Place fried turkey in oven with foil on top.
3. Warm turkey for approx. 50-60 min.
4. *Check Spicy Turkey at 50 minutes for 180 degrees internal temperature.
If 180 degrees has not been reached, keep checking every 5 minutes.
5. Let stand 15 minutes prior to serving.
Baked Spiral Ham
Your Cure 81 Spiral Ham has been Browned and Pre Glazed at store level to
give you a ham ready to reheat and serve.
Heating Conventional Oven:
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Place browned ham in oven with foil on top.
3. Warm ham for approx. 30-35 min.
4. Check ham at 30 minutes for 140 - 160 degrees internal temperature.
If 140 - 160 degrees has not been reached, keep checking every 5 minutes.
5. Let stand 10 minutes prior to serving.
*To make sure that the turkey is completely warmed,
place a thermometer into the center of the ham.
The temperature should read 180° when the center is
warmed enough to eat.
