What is myDNA?
myDNA is Singapore’s first health and wellness programme based on your unique DNA, to help
you make better lifestyle choices.
It is provided solely by Prenetics Limited “Prenetics”. myDNA empowers you with valuable
health information. With a simple saliva sample, you can discover how your genes affect your
diet, nutrition and fitness. This information enables you to live healthier and proactively prevent
diseases.
Will my results affect my insurance application and/or
coverage?
No, your test results will not affect your insurance application
and/or coverage. myDNA is a non-diagnostic test. Your results
will not tell whether you have or will develop certain health
conditions. It is not a routine test requested by Prudential for
any insurance application, therefore your test results will not
be used for any underwriting nor claims assessment purpose.
You are not required to declare any of your test information
and its results in your next insurance application.
Does Prudential get myDNA related data?
myDNA is administered by Prenetics. Prenetics will not share any of your personal data with
Prudential. For more details, please refer to Prenetics Privacy Statement in the myDNA kit or
Prenetics website at www.mydna.com.sg
How accurate are the results?
myDNA’s genotyping has a 99.9% accuracy validated by the CORE Facilities-Genome Sequencing
Laboratory (CFGSL) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prenetics, the provider of myDNA,
processes all myDNA test samples in their own proprietary laboratory based in Hong Kong
that is internationally accredited under ISO-15189:2012. All DNA categories tested in myDNA
are supported by a rigorous volume of research conducted by leading science and research
institutes around the world.

** The Minimum Annualised Premium Amount is defined as the total premium due in a year for
the policy and supplementary benefit(s) if the mode of premium payment is not on an annual basis.
The conversion of USD1 is fixed at SGD1.40 in calculating the Minimum Annualised Premium
Amount for PRUterm vantage (USD), PRUwealth (USD) and PRUlife vantage achiever II (USD).
*** The Minimum Single Premium Amount is defined as the total single premium due to the policy
and supplementary benefit(s).
