Jessica Quit Smoking ...and you can too. Photo courtesy of Massachusetts Department of Public Health "I was a follower, now I am a leader." Jessica began to smoke at age 13 and became a heavy smoker once she was able to pay for her own cigarettes. She found it hard to quit, especially because of stress. But once her mom was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 42, Jessica made a vow to both her mom and herself never to smoke. Jessica feels better, hasn’t gained weight even though her appetite is better, and saved a lot of money along the way to staying quit. >> To learn more about Jessica’s story, visit: www.makesmokinghistory.org Medicine and Counseling can DOUBLE your chances of quitting for good.
