Before opening QuikDrop, Joe Migliorino was
Vice President of Business Development for
Century 21 in New York. After relocating to
South Florida in 2004, he noticed a high
demand for assistance with business and
estate liquidation. To meet this need, Joe
purchased a franchise operation from a
company piloting eBay drop-off stores –
stores where people can drop off their
high-value items to be sold on eBay. The
QuikDrop main franchise soon went out of
business, but Joe bought his franchise
separately and has now been running the
business independently for 13 years. He and
his wife are the owner-operators, with one
part-time employee. Joe uses eBay’s Global
Shipping Program to reach international
customers and today sells about 12% of
products globally. Through the years Joe and
his wife have helped countless customers get
top dollar for their items gaining invaluable
knowledge with each transaction and
becoming expert appraisers along the way.
