Noticias de la Clase de Espaňol (News from Spanish Class)
Hola Parents!
The second quarter is flying by, and I wanted to update you on what the students are
learning in 2nd grade Spanish class. So far this year, we have been working on conversation
questions and answers, colors, and numbers; we are counting numbers up to forty. We recently
started our new unit on body parts vocabulary. In this unit, we learn to sing Frosty the
Snowman in Spanish as well as talk about parts of our body that hurt. Your child will be able to
say things like: My head hurts. My stomach hurts. –all in Spanish. I have attached some
vocabulary sheets which will be helpful for your child. Please keep them at home and use for
practice and review.
If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me at school. My email is
[email protected]. I am very happy with our progress so far and hopefully your child is
enjoying the class as much as I enjoy teaching it.
