Located on the riverfront side of Federation Square,
ZINC offers a rare private space in the heart of
Melbourne.
This modern and stylish venue adds a sense of
elegance and sophistication to your event, with
contemporary design and striking features such as
floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Yarra River.
Shaded by elm trees, ZINC’s outdoor decks provide
an excellent setting for pre-dinner or lunch drinks and
conference catering with views across the river to the
city skyline.

Whether you’re looking for a large event space or a more
intimate venue, ZINC at Federation Square can fulfil your
requirements. Comprising one large space or two smaller
studios, ZINC is ideal for all corporate events, from gala
dinners and product launches, to lunches, seminars and
cocktail parties. ZINC (Studio 1 and 2) has ample dinner
space for up to 450 people for a sit down dinner, with a
generous dance floor area and separate pre dinner drinks
space. Up to 1000 people can be accommodated for a
cocktail style event.
Two independent entries and a central operable wall
enables the space to be divided into two studios to
comfortably accommodate smaller groups, should your
event be more intimate.

Studio 1 and 2 incorporate all areas, opening up into
one large event space. Utilising the reception area and
both decks, Studio 1 and 2 can accommodate 1,000 for a
cocktail event or 520 for a banquet.

STUDIO 1
ABOUT EPICURE
Studio 1 is entered via glass doors at the side of the
building, leading into a large reception area with a
bar to one side and access to the large outdoor deck
overlooking the Yarra River and city skyline on the other.
This is the perfect place to hold on arrival cocktails and
canapés while your guests mingle. The studio can be
sectioned off by exquisite organza draping which adds
a dramatic flair as the room is unveiled for your guests.
Accommodating 500 for a cocktail event or 200 for
banquet, Studio 1 is a versatile room suitable for many
occasions.
Studio 2 is entered via glass doors at the front of the
building. The entry leads directly into the studio, and it
also has access to its own private deck with stunning
river and city views. Studio 2 can accommodate 200 for a
cocktail event or 150 for a banquet, making it the perfect
location for more intimate events

Favouring local suppliers, we’re always aiming
to reduce our carbon footprint by supporting
home grown, environmentally sustainable
produce.
It’s a food philosophy that we feel very
strongly about. It goes to the heart of the
epicurean philosophy – creating happiness
through good food, good wine, good friends
– in a way that does no harm.
This approach means we are constantly
researching suppliers who produce food of
exceptional quality using humane methods.
We use free–range poultry and free–range
small goods wherever possible, and we
never use cage–reared eggs. All seafood is
Australian, farmed or wild.
Our philosophy also extends to the sourcing
of specialty local dry goods such as nuts, grains,
and vinegars, as well as local mineral water,
100% Australian orange juice and a fair trade
coffee blend. This approach has helped us to
create exciting seasonal menus that revolve
around fresh local produce when it’s at its best.
So whatever time of year your event is being
held, you’ll be guaranteed an outstanding meal.
Our chefs combine this ethical approach with
their great passion and extensive experience.
They draw inspiration from food trends from
around the world and bring this to all of their
dishes.
