2. The Committee will consider various proposals for re-organization of .the District/SubDivisions/TehsilsiSub-Telisils in the Punjab State and give its recommendations as early as possible.
The Committee shouid also keep in view the requirements of the Delimitation Commission.

3. The Headquarters of the Committee will be at Chandigarh but the Chairperson, if considers
necessary, may convene the meetings of the Committee at any place in the State.
4. The Committee may co-opt, any concerned person/officer as Special invitee in a meeting
for obtaining any relevant information.
5. The official members shall. draw. TA/DA from their respective Departments and the non,
officials members shall be entitled to TA/DA as admissible to a First Grade Government Employee.
The other conditions laid down in the Punjab/T.A. Rules for Government Employees will also apply
to journeys performed by non-official members except where otherwise provided.
6. For drawing TA/DA,.the non-officials members shall furnish a certificate that no TA in
respect of the journeys or DA for the period mentioned in the bill has been or will be claimed by
him from any other official source.
7. For the purpose of payment of TA/DA to the non-official members, the Financial
Commissioner Revenue will be the Controlling Officer and the Under Secretary (General) as Drawing
and Disbursing Officer.
8. The expenditure of TA DA shall be debited to Head:A— General Service—D—Administrative
Services "2052-Sectt. General. Services-099 Board of Revenue-0l—Rev. Excise and Taxation" for the.,
year 2006-2c07.
