Tie the knot with your toes in the sand, during a brilliant
sunset on our private white sandy beach. Whether you are
marrying or recommitting, we can tailor an experience for
anything from a private intimate ceremony to a huge party
with mariachis serenading your reception, wish lanterns
and spectacular fireworks.
There several packages available to complement your
ideas. Our locally experienced coordinators will help organize and manage all of the details so your wedding day
will be a breeze. We’ll pamper you with special extras so
all you have to do is enjoy each other.
OUR RESORT
Aqua was created in harmony with nature. Our 19 freestanding villas are elevated into the treetop canopy providing dramatic views. The villas comprise one-bedroom
up to three-bedroom dwellings, with spacious and private
accommodation for couples, families and groups of up to
6 per villa, each couple with a private ensuite bedroom.
Enjoy the luxury of private plunge pools and extensive
hang out decks surrounded by the tropical dry forest habitat. Top quality beds, sustainable Nicaraguan hardwoods,
outdoor showers and indoor/outdoor dining areas create
an unforgettable experience. When you venture out of
your villa, you will enjoy access to all hotel facilities, including our beachfront restaurant, spa, yoga deck, and our
private, secluded white-sandy beach.

THE CEREMONY
Saying ‘I do’ on our private beach in a dramatic sunset
setting or on the palapa covered hardwood platform with
stunning ocean views is an unforgettable moment.
If you want your marriage recognized as legal at home you
can have a civil ceremony, and it is possible to combine
this with a religious or spiritual ceremony if you choose.
Marrying in Nicaragua is easy - we offer to complete all
legal documentation onsite, all you need is a Birth Certificate, a Notarized Declaration of Single Status, a Copy
of Couple’s Passports, a Copy of Witnesses’ Passports
(all copies of original, translated into Spanish). You need to
be in Nicaragua 72 hours prior to the wedding date. The
Marriage Certificate will be sent to you within 4 weeks after
the wedding.
The typical beach setup for your wedding has your guests
on wooden chairs, a bamboo or wooden arch with floral
arrangements, and a PA system for speeches and music.
BANQUET SERVICES
Delight your guests with a unique reception dinner at
Aqua’s ‘Bromelia’ restaurant. Our local chefs combine
authentic organic flavors with creative flair. Vegetarian and
vegan options are available.
Whether you are aiming for the formal elegance of a plated
dinner or the relaxed sophistication of a beach buffet reception, we can craft a meal to your tastes. We also offer bar service on our beachfront bar area, and additional
setup of 3 private dining palapas (up to 10 each).
‘Miami beach’ lounge setups are available, with sofas, platforms, beach BBQ or buffet - for groups up to 85. We are
happy to design and host a cocktail party for your group.
Our Pastry Chef will design your cake and customize it to
your personal tastes - optional consulting chefs are also
available to tailor your entire event menus according to
your tastes and dietary requirements.
FLOWERS AND DECOR
Nicaragua has an abundance of gorgeous flora for every
season. We can create customized arrangements to complement your unique style and color themes, or you can
choose from our designed wedding floral package.
We welcome photographs or magazine articles that may
depict your ideas, enabling our designers to replicate a
concept or tailor flowers to your specific requests.

WELLNESS
At Aqua Wellness Resort, all the elements for your wedding
day are already in place. Let yourself relax into a healthy
state of mind. We will take care of everything. Choose
pampering spa treatments for two and get your body and
mind ready to accompany the union of your souls.
To prepare for the big day, you and your guests may also
enjoy a complete pre-wedding spa package for couples,
which includes a couple’s massage, a vitalizing body
scrub, tea on the private spa deck plus manicure/pedicure, hairstyling and make-up .
Be our guest with a healthy couples’s breakfast served
on your private deck or in bed, choose from a variety of
freshly squeezed juices and get energized for the day.
Our on site yoga instructors offer private or group classes
and can create a unique wedding-day session for you and
your guests, tailored to their interests and abilities.
PHOTOGRAPHY
You have the option of working with our local professional
photographer and videographer who is experienced with
the dramatic settings, shot locations and lighting at different times of the day in Aqua. We are equally happy to
work with the photographers of your choice. We want the
beautiful images of your wedding day and video footage
of the ceremony to become your family heirlooms that are
cherished forever.
Many options are available, including professional printing, albums, studio photography, raw digital image CDs,
postcards, and slideshows set to music. Have the photographer shoot just the ceremony, chronicle the whole
day for you and you can also add a one day tour/shoot for
bride/groom “love story” available at Redonda Bay and at
other scenic shot locations in Nicaragua. A Studio setup
for group pictures is available on site.

• Seasonal flower arrangements: Your collection includes a bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, and 2 large standing arrangements for the
ceremony
• A PA Sound System for the ceremony with a wireless microphone
• A Full wedding reception dinner at the oceanside Bromelia Restaurant,
choose from a variety of starters, entrees and desserts
• The Aqua Mariachi Band (5 persons) for 2 hours
• One group yoga lesson for you and your guests
