The Prompter Rome Community Theater 8911 Turin Road Rome, NY Editor’s Column The President is directing “The Lion in Winter”. His cast and some basic information are contained in this newsletter. Thanks, Carl. You sometimes never hear about some of the folks working behind the scenes at RCT. Since it is my column this month, I am going to feature some of them. Sharon Parker is in charge of the concession stand. She works with her staff to man the stand for every performance of every show. She also orders concession supplies and coordinates annual inspections with the Dept. of Health. Sharon is always willing to train anyone interested in working concessions. Just stop by and ask how you pop that delicious popcorn. Who knows, she might put you to work! Thanks, Sharon. Other volunteers publicize our events. Bob Hershman is the RCT advertising chairman, responsible for creating newspaper articles and advertisements for our events. Mike Sharp is responsible for the RCT web site and does a fine job updating it for various events. Adrian Maggio is responsible for our Facebook presence. Thanks guys! Over the years I have edited this newsletter, I get all of the credit. However as editor I reach out to various directors, producers, and other committee chairman to send me information that I then fit into this newsletter. I cannot thank all of them individually in this column, but do thank them ALL for what they have done to make creating this newsletter much easier. And, without the aid of the Rome DDSO to fold, tape, and label all of the copies of this newsletter for mailing, it would not happen. My job is made easy by each and every one of you! With this job, I also maintain the theater address list of season ticket holders, members, and performers that this newsletter is sent to. If you are interested in any of the various jobs mentioned in this newsletter or assisting RCT in any other way, let me know and I will hook you up with the person in charge of that department. RCT Is 100% volunteers, so many hands make light work!
