LDNP Volunteer Rangers
Boat from Glenridding to Aira Force. Enjoy
the pretty falls and return by lakeside, visiting
Wordsworth’s daffodils en route. Walk free,
half price boat trip on Ullswater Steamers.

‘Teddies Go Free’ with Ullswater Steamers
Children aged 5-15 years travel free during
this period with their teddies (under 5s travel
free throughout the year). Complimentary
Colouring Sheets on-board, plus look out for

hiding on the Teddy Trail quiz at Aira Force!

with LDNP Volunteer Rangers
Boat from Glenridding to Aira Force then walk
up to Gowbarrow returning to Glenridding by
view point and lakeside path. Walk free, half
price boat trip on Ullswater Steamers.

Guided walk with Martin, Head Gardener at
Lowther Castle
Experience our huge drifts of daffodils which
form an outstanding sea of colour through the
gardens. £10 per person.
Wordsworth Point Trail Map
Pick up a National Trust trail map from Aira
Force, and take a walk through Glencoyne Park
and along the lakeshore to see the famous
‘host of golden daffodils’ at Wordsworth
Point. £1.00 each, all proceeds go towards
buying native daffodil bulbs to plant this
autumn.

Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea at Inn on the
Lake
Join us in the Orangery and indulge in a quirky
afternoon tea, plus an Easter treasure hunt
Eggstravaganza for the children. Afternoon Tea

Daffodil Planting at Glenridding Green
Help Glenridding plant over 500 wild daffodils
on the green. Just turn up with a smile and
a trowel and help Glenridding start to look
beautiful again. Dress for the weather!

Daffodil Canoe Trail
Set sail on a Daffodil Canoe Trail with Reach
Beyond Adventure. Paddle from Aira Force,
stopping at Wordsworth Point to see the
daffodils and then over the lake to Norfolk
Island before returning to Aira Force. £15pp.

Introduction to Watercolours at Greystoke
Cycle Cafe
Learn to paint Daffodils with Margaret Jarvis.
Materials provided if necessary. Open to all
abilities, so if you’re a complete beginner this
would be the one to start getting to grips
with watercolours. Followed by a teaching
illustration in watercolours or gouache by
Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) expert,
Simon Williams from Dorset. £68 inc. 2 course
lunch.

Botanical or Wildlife Illustration at
Greystoke Cycle Cafe
Learn the art of botanical and wildlife
illustration with Simon Williams, Society
