LIISA EVASTINA Biography:
ACTRESS:
Liisa was born in the suburbs of
Helsinki, Finland. She became
independent at a young age from
being raised by her older sister since
the age of 14. Her father is now a
retired prosecutor and her mother
was a housewife with seven children.
Having many siblings and multiple
pets, her early childhood was very
active and filled with entertainment.
Liisa Evastina started her career as a model in Europe. After moving to Los Angeles,
she started training at the Playhouse West, a Meisner technique school knows for its
successful graduates such as Ashley Judd, James Franco and Scott Caan. Liisa was
taught by several mentors, including Jeff Goldblum and Wendy Davis.
Liisa Evastina’s movies have been successful in dozens of film festivals in both the
United States and in Europe. Liisa speaks several languages and excels in many
sports such as martial arts, basketball, soccer, tennis, rock climbing and swimming.
She is a great combination of a leading and character actess.
Liisa is gifted comedian, story creator and a black belt martial artist. Her acting range
is wide, in which is capable of playing strong character roles, yet she has a vulnerable
and lovable essence about her that transcends to her work. She is knows for her
attractive, yet genuine roles, with fearless and truthful acting. In general, she is very
comfortable in her skin and in tune with her body and spirit. Her overall appearance is
relaxed, confident and friendly.
At this time, Liisa Evastina is attached to over a dozen feature films in development.
Three years in a row, Liisa has booked a TV pilot during the pilot season: the first two
were independently funded pilots and then NCIS Los Angeles, top quality CBS show
with millions of viewers. Most recently Liisa played the romantic lead in “Paradise of
Bachelors” directed by James Brettney. Liisa currently appears in the all-star online
series Monogamy Experiment: in which she plays Lisa Anaracky.
PRODUCER:
Mannerkoski Enterprises was established by Liisa Evastina in summer 2012. The
production company was named Mannerkoski Enterprises as a legacy to her family’s
name. Mannerkoski Enterprises specializes in finding mainstream TV show and
feature film ideas with unique flair to them. Liisa Evastina has teamed up with
international writers, directors, producers and financers and has comedies, dramas
and action/adventure films in development. Several of Mannerkoski Enterprises
screenplays are written by Liisa’s two go-to writers: Adrian Abarca and Gary Petras.
Liisa also has been acting as an executive producer for multiple movies, bringing in
packaging elements and opened doors for distributions and foreign sales for movies.
Any movie produced by Liisa Evastina is produced for the plan of international
distribution.
WRITER:
Liisa Evastina has co-written TV pilot Finnish Me, a half an hour comedy about a
Finnish mail order bride, with Jake Deptula and Sonya, The Princess of Siberia, and
action/adventure themed feature film, with Adrian Abarca. Mannerkoski Enterprises
is packaging and pitching these projects and several other feature films at this time.
Liisa Evastina also co-wrote children’s book series called Sunny and Rainy, with
author Gary Petras. Several publishers have shown interest in the series, which
introduces kindergarten age children to different countries and cultures in an
accepting and entertaining way.
DIRECTOR:
Having being a martial artist for most of her grown up life, Liisa has been involved
with multiple action driven movies and stage production: directing, stunt coordinating
and acting. She has directed actors both on stage and film. Her understanding of
human psychology, character development and knowledge of visual, special and stunt
effects makes her a strong director for a comic book style action/adventure movies
and TV shows. Liisa Evastina is a very passionate and imaginative director, who has a
the blessed ability to create teams of great creative talents and work environment that
inspires team members to give their very best.
PHILANTHROPIST:
Liisa Evastina has a verya special place in her heart for enlightened values and
creating harmony between people and nature. She is a proud member of LGBT
community and all-loving and generous human being, with a strong interest in
volunteering. She eagerly supports a Ecofriendly products and business ideas and
animal rights. She enjoys her spiritual path and belief in God within all of us. She is
officially non-denominational, yet can be found visiting spiritual practices of different
religions. She has a great interest in all cultures and religions and considers them
wealthy aspects of our world.
Liisa Evastina has been making contributions for WWF, UNICEF, Heart of Los Angeles
and local pet adoption organizations. She looks forward being able to make large scale
contributions toward keeping our Earth well balanced and leaving it even better for
the next generation than we found it.
GOALS:
Liisa Evastina is building a sustainable career as a leading actress in internationally
known movies and TV shows. She also aspires to be a Green Ambassador by building
a Eco friendly-low carbon footprint home for herself and for her future family.
