ASAHIAV Global Distributors Meeting in JAPAN took place
ASAHIAV Global Distributors Meetings for our thermoplastic piping systems business took place
from Wednesday, March 29 to Thursday, March 30, 2017. The meeting was international in character
with approximately 100 participants from 33 distributors in 22 countries from around the world including
East Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Oceania, Africa, Europe, and North America.
On the first day, we had factory tours of our engineering factory (Amori Factory) and main valve
factory (Nobeoka Plant) in Nobeoka city, where our headquarters are located. A welcome party
followed the factory tours, where participants deepened their friendship as ASAHI Family.
On the next day, Dan Anderson (President of our subsidiary in the United States), Executive Officer,
introduced sales activities in the U.S., and our business managers made presentations on overseas
business strategies and our technical strength and exchanged opinions to promote understanding.
Participants from distributors gave positive feedback full of trust and expectation, such as “it was very
productive” and “ASAHI YUKIZAI has changed.”
