The salt pans are located in Olhão
(Algarve), in the “Reserve of Ria
Formosa”, in perfect harmony
with the existing fauna and flora.
This is friendly to the environment, essential to maintaining
the ecosystem in this “Ria Formosa”, and allows the creation of the
perfect conditions for nesting,
feeding and protection of several
species of birds.
Flor de Sal is made up of light and
fragile crystals in the form of reed,
which are formed on the surface
of small salt pans, creating a thin
filmof salt. The Flor de Sal is
collected daily in small quantities.
Hand Harvest Sea Salt is produced in small centennial salt pans ,
using ancient methods that use
only sea water, solar energy and
the work of man. This process
results in a product 100% natural
and a natural source of calcium,
magnesium and iodine. Is ideal
for cooking, bringing the sea
minerals to your table
