your red cardboard.
Use the paint roller to cover the paper in yellow
paint.
Dip one of the brooms in the bucket of blue
paint. Use the broom to flick and swish the blue
onto your yellow painting.
Dip the other broom in the bucket of red paint

Make up your own adventure story with the
help of a friend or family member. Use
household objects to create places to visit
along the way. For example, you could use
boxes and cushions to make a cave and a
blue or green towel to make a river. Have
fun drawing a map to take you to all of
these places!
Visit the penguins at the zoo! Watch how
they walk and listen to the noises they
make. If you can’t go the zoo, find a book
about penguins at your local library.

Toothpicks
Tape
A cake tin
Ribbon
2 plastic juice bottles with lids
Rice
A funnel

Tambourine
Cut a long strip of cardboard approximately 60cm x 8cm.
Ask an adult to stick a toothpick through the middle of each milk bottle lid.
Cut a series of identical rectangles in the middle of the cardboard strip – one for each milk

Secure a milk bottle lid in the middle of each rectangle by taping either end of each
toothpick to the cardboard strip.
Join the ends of the cardboard strip and shake away!

Tape a length of ribbon to either side of a cake tin. Wear the cake tin around your neck and
use your hands to tap a beat.
