( ) in ( ) compound which is assigned for me by QU Housing Department for the purpose of residence during my contract period. Consequently, I hereby agree and pledge to the following (in addition to housing policies and procedures): • Not to make alterations, modifications or additions to the accommodation internally or externally. In-case of urgent necessity, prior written approval will be attained from the Housing Department. • Being fully responsible for any damage resulting from misuse of the building or the accommodation’s contents. • Not to change accommodation’s locks unless prior written approval is attained from the Housing Department, and if so, all they keys will be handed over to the Housing Department when leaving the accommodation. • To pay all amounts due for the electricity & water bills, etc. (including the other amounts provided which may come from misuse of the apartment, if needed) until the last day of residing in housing, and to provide the Housing Department with settlement bills during the clearance with the Human Resources (required final bill settlement receipt from KAHRAMAA which did not pass more than 24 hours from issuance), also, I agree to deduct money from my financial settlements for any damages that may happen from my misuse in University housing at the evacuation of the residential unit. • To be responsible for the accommodation’s cleanliness, internally and externally, as well as caring for the contents throughout my residence and at its handover to the Housing Department. • In-case of receiving furniture allowance, I pledge to refund any remaining balance of housing allowance in accordance with the policy of housing allowance for Human Resources or Government Housing. • To handover the housing unit within a WEEK of moving to another University housing, and TWO WEEKS of resignation or end of service, etc., and the University has the right to take all necessary legal actions to vacate the property, and I bear the consequences of financial burdens of the delay in handover process. • Not to accommodate persons other than members of my family in the first degree, for any reason.
