Erin Torline
Erin is the daughter of James and Teresa Torline of North Vernon. Erin’s
goal is to become a speech pathologist helping people participate fully in
society. It is through this vocation “I will make a difference in other’s lives
while fulfilling my own”.
Her college plans are to study this area at Indiana State University. At
Shawe and at JCHS Erin was singled out for academic accomplishments.
She ranked 13th in her class and won awards in Spanish, biology,
composition, world history and U.S. history.
Andrew Duncan
Andrew is the son of Marnie Jackson and has two younger siblings.
Andrew has been a member of the JCHS Orchestra three years and
was awarded the outstanding violin award two years.
At JCHS, Duncan was active in the German Club, the German National
Honor Society and the French Club. He was inducted into the National
Honor Society his Junior year. Duncan, plans on studying linguistics
and Germanic studies at Indiana University, Andrew ranked 22 in his
senior class of 258. He said “I can’t believe they chose me over the other applicants”.
