Rules 12(a)(1) and 15(c) of the Rules of Admission
Applicants Admitted without Examination: Applicants admitted without exam have one year to
complete 15 hours of CLE in Vermont practice & procedure that has been certified by the Continuing
Legal Education Board and approved by the Board of Bar Examiners. 6 of the hours must be live. The
failure to provide proof of completion of the required CLE within one year of admission will result in an
administrative suspension that will only be cured by filing proof of compliance. See, Rule 15(c) of the
Rules of Admission.
Applicants Admitted by Examination or by Transferred UBE Score: Applicants admitted by examination
or by transferred UBE Score have one year to complete 15 hours of CLE in Vermont practice &
procedure that has been certified by the Continuing Legal Education Board and approved by the Board
of Bar Examiners. 6 of the hours must be live. The failure to provide proof of completion of the
required CLE within one year of admission will result in an administrative suspension that will only be
cured by filing proof of compliance. See, Rules 12(a)(1) of the Rules of Admission.
This is the list of courses that have been certified by the Continuing Legal Education Board and
