Essay Prompt: What does it mean to “come home?” Consider Odysseus’s journey home to
Ithaca and the symbolism of “home.” (L.9-10.5a-b) While he returned home in the literal sense,

which is more important to the development of Odysseus’s character and a theme of the epic—
