Monday, November 22 – Thursday, November 25: Entrance at first floor, Hamar Olympic Hall. Friday, November 26 – Sunday, November 28, Entrance at ground floor, Hamar Olympic Hall. Board and Lodging In accordance with ISU Communication No. 1638, paragraph 11 g) the Organizer will cover room and meal expenses at the official Hotel for up to one team leader, 2 Ladies Competitors and 2 Men Competitors from each participating ISU Member, beginning with dinner on evening of Friday, November 26, and ending with breakfast on the morning of Monday, November 29. Meals Scandic Hotel: Breakfast Dinner Monday - Saturday Sunday Monday - Saturday 07:00 – 10:00 07:00 – 11:00 To be announced if earlier on Sunday. 19:00 – 22:00 To be announced if earlier on Saturday. If not otherwise agreed, the accommodation at Scandic Hotel for competitors, team officials, ISU representatives, ISU officials (referees and starters) and other persons attending this Essent ISU World Cup is arranged with full board and lodging, with all meals included. If someone for some reason will have only room with breakfast or will be away for some meals, please inform the reception, so that the bill can be reduced accordingly. Team leaders’ Meeting A team leaders’ meeting to confirm the grouping for the first distances will take place at Johann Olav Koss Auditorum, Vikingskipet, Friday, November 26 at 17:00. Drawing The drawing for the distances for Saturdays’ competition will take place at Johann Olav Koss Auditorium, Vikingskipet Friday, November 26 at 19:00. Transportation Transportation is available for competitors, coaches and team leaders who are staying at the Official Hotels from Monday, November 16. The phone number to the Transportation Office is given above. Departure The Organizing Committee will arrange transportation from Hamar to Oslo International Airport - Gardermoen on Monday, November 29. You will find a “Transportation Form” enclosed. The form must be completely filled out and delivered at the Information Desk, Scandic Hotel, not later than Friday, November 26 at 12:00. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Essent ISU World Cup Speed Skating, Hamar Olympic Hall, November 27-28, 2010 Ceremonies There will be ceremonies presenting flowers to the 3 best skaters on each distance after each Division/distance. We ask the skaters to be present for the ceremony immediately when announced. Closing Dinner All accredited competitors and team officials are welcome to Closing Dinner on Sunday, November 28 at 19:00, Scandic Hotel - “Kulturhuset”. Prizes money The prizes money will be given according to the ISU Memorandum and ISU Communication No. 1638. Anti-doping tests Anti-Doping tests will be carried out in accordance with the valid ISU Anti-Doping Code. The skaters called for doping control must carry a valid passport to confirm their identity. On the days of competition skaters can only leave the ice rink when they have received confirmation that they will not be selected for doping control. Team leaders are requested to assist their skaters in observing the above procedures. In case of language problems, it is recommended that the skater is accompanied by a team leader / interpreter during the testing procedure. Coaches’ areas Only two coaches per skater are allowed to stay in the coaches’ area on the changing straight, according to ISU Regulations Rule 228 § 6. Designated areas for skaters and team officials Non-competing skaters and team leaders have their own marked area on the stands. Only persons with the “green mark” on the accreditation card can enter the inside of the ice rink – and only when they are going to skate.
