TVCEF’s Alumni Project 2015
Decorating the TVHS Athletic Hallway
Project background:
TVCEF is working to connect and motivate Twin Valley Alumni through the Alumni Committee. Each year, the
Alumni Committee will work to complete an Alumni Project. The purpose of the Alumni Project will be to enhance
or improve in some way the Twin Valley School District as a whole or one of the individual schools. To complete
the Alumni Project, the committee will complete all the necessary steps including planning, fundraising, and
implementation.
2015 Project Description:
TVCEF’s Alumni Committee would like to decorate the Athletic hallway in the high school by hanging photos and
photo collages of Twin Valley sports players. The photos will be hung in picture frames on both sides of the
hallway and will require the appropriate wall fixtures. The committee will collect pictures and newspaper clippings
of Twin Valley sports teams and players throughout the years of 1956 to 2015. The pictures will then be digitally
arranged and reprinted to fit selected frames. The finished display will be organized by the decade to showcase all
Twin Valley sports throughout the years. When the pictures are complete, the committee will invite alumni to join
in the installation of the finished frames in the hallway.
Timeline:
June
 Request permission to begin the project.
 Complete a project description and budget.
July
 Reach out to alumni and the community for pictures and newspaper clippings to use.
 Project leader will collect all photos.
 Begin fundraising for the project.
August
 Organize photos by decades.
 Enhance photos when needed and digitally arrange photos in collages.
 Print photos.
 Purchase frames.
 Buy necessary supplies for hanging.
 Invite alumni to picture hanging event.
Late August/Early September
 Volunteers will hang pictures during picture hanging event.
