Challenge
Create a standard company-wide planning system
DB Schenker required a system to manage deliveries to the right
destinations, at the right times. Planning had to factor in track
closures and tight delivery windows. The new system had to draw
information from multiple sources and present a single picture of
real-time train movements and delivery schedules.
Solution
Jade’s Consolidated Planning Tool (CPT)
The Consolidated Planning Tool (CPT) provides a single integrated
view of customer ordering and train planning. Controllers can see
how trips are progressing, yard personnel know when trains will
arrive and depart, and management can see what’s going on in
every corner of their network.
