Party Planning Ideas

Color theme:
The most common color theme is red and black for a magical
birthday party. You can also substitute yellow or white for red.
Decorations:
 Plates
 Napkins
 Streamers/crepe paper
 Cups
 Silverware
 Round balloons
All of the above items can be found at your nearest dollar
tree for $1.00 per item.
(Streamers and balloons aren’t essential, but they do add a more festive look to a party)
TIP: a deck of cards can be used to decorate a whole room! Spread
them on the table or even tape them evenly along the crepe
paper!
CENTERPIECE:
Buy a plastic top hat from your local party store and a
stuffed bunny rabbit. Place the bunny inside the hat with a magic
wand and stick a Happy Birthday sticker to the top of the wand.

Food:
The color scheme that you choose should also be used in the
food. ( Example: Red and Black icing on cupcakes).
TIP: to avoid the mess of cleaning up and cutting the cake, serve
your guests cupcakes or a healthy alternative such as fresh
fruit.

Always plan extra activities to make sure the party is full of
fun!
Goodie Bags:
Not required but they do make a nice ending to a party and
are a nice way to say thank you for coming to your guests.
You can find theme printed bags and small trinkets at your
nearest party supply store.

TIP: Try to stay away from including candy in the goodie bags.
I have found parents are hesitant about letting their children
have candy.
