The Law on Drugs and Medical Devices (1998) was amended twice and was revised by the Parliament in 2010 . The EML was initially approved in 1991 with a revision of every four years. The 7th EML was approved in 2014. New NMPM was upgraded and approved by the Parliament in 2014. National Medicines Policy of Mongolia (NMPM) The mission of the National Medicines Policy is to continuously, equitably and adequately supply individuals, health facilities and veterinary services with effective, safe, good quality and affordable medicines and to ensure the rational use of medicines.
