DESCRIPTION
Inspiring rugs made to order to your specifications. You choose the size, pattern, the
colors. Be inspired. Keep in mind these rugs are a natural product. Each rug is handsewn and made to order. The hair will have cowlicks, the color will vary within the
pattern of the rug... this is what makes this product so beautiful.
CONSTRUCTION
European full grain, aniline dyed, hair-on cowhide (Cavallini). Typically we trim
the hair. Long hair is also available upon request. Borders can be self or All Grain
leather; please note that borders overlap up to 1/2” to 1”, allow for this in calculating
your desired border size. Black polyester backing, adhered and stitched.
PATTERN
Specify overall size (OAS) and pattern to your design. Some patterns will affect the
OAS of the rug, specify to be centered, or trimmed left or right. Specify pattern
direction where applicable. Thread color will be chosen for you if not specified.
CARE
A light sweep of a broom is best. Vacuum use is not recommended. Cleaning
chemicals should NOT be used. Spot clean with a mild soap and warm water
(it’s been outside for some years already).
UPHOLSTERY
All Cavallini hair-on hide colors are available to specify.
All Grain is recommended for a contrast leather border only.
