Eaters Car Wash
Sunday, May 7th,

The Purple LEGO Eaters are one of only
four Long Island teams, out of hundreds, to
move on to the FIRST LEGO League international championship robotics competition
at the University of Arkansas. Please come
out and support them in their fundraising
efforts.

The Friends of the Library have generously provided funding to help
purchase new, comfortable chairs for the Library meeting rooms.
The Friends will be selling the folding and stacking chairs that we
are currently using, which they also purchased.

Friends of the Library Bus Trip
The Highline, Whitney Museum & Lunch in Little Italy
Tuesday, June 20th, Bus departs from the Library at 8:00 AM
The day includes a tour of The Highline, and a docent lead tour of the Whitney Museum,
and lunch at Forlini’s. You will choose your entrée from a limited menu at the restaurant.
The cost of this trip is $135 per person. Current members of the Friends may register by
telephone only beginning Friday, May 5th at 9:00 AM. Payment is required by Monday,
May 8th. Non-members may register Saturday, May 6th, and payment is required at the
time of registration. No refunds unless we are able to fill your space from a waiting list.

While creating your own spa gift basket, you will learn how to create
customized gift baskets for any occasion. The fee for this hands-on

Sportfishing on Long Island

Captain Jerry McGrath, lifelong fisherman,
charter boat captain, lecturer, and writer for
several fishing publications will share his secrets on fish-finding, bait and lure selection,
knot and rig typing, safety baiting, chumming
techniques, and more. Beginner and advanced anglers will all

Arthritis Exercise

Adams. You should have a clear goal of what you
would like to learn during your training session
such as how to:
•Download eBooks or audiobooksto a device.
•Set up an email account.
•Set up a Facebook account.
•Learn to use Library databases for research.
•Use the Library Catalog from home to reserve
and renew materials.
Librarians are instructors, not tech support, and cannot troubleshoot or fix malfunctioning laptops, devices or software. Sessions

our “Welcome New Sibling Kit.”This kit is designed to ease your child’s anxiety concerning the arrival of their new brother or sister.
Included in this kit is an anatomically-correct newborn doll (your choice: boy or girl,
light or dark skin) with clothes and diapers
to change, DVDs, books, pamphlets, and
more. The new sibling kit may be borrowed
for one week. Reservations are required and
may be made up to five months in advance

People Who Are Blind Or Visually Impaired

Suffolk Cooperative Library System (SCLS) Outreach
Services department and will take place at SCLS located at 627 North Sunrise Service Road in Bellport,
exit 55 off of Sunrise Highway (east of Sills Road/Route
101). The event is FREE and open to the public.
