York College of Pennsylvania has developed strong
educational programs taught by full-time faculty
and area professionals that will provide the skills
and knowledge necessary for those seeking
to become nursing home administrators.
CEUs for Nurses: Modules may be applied to the
continuing education requirements.
CEUs for NHAs: Modules may be applied to the
continuing education requirements.
Objective: To provide the 120-hour Core of Knowledge
for the Nursing Home Administrators required by the
PA State Board of Nursing Home Administrators.
Approval: Each module is approved by the State Board
of Nursing Home Administrators. York College will
provide all 16 core modules; a certificate of completion
for each module; and a certificate for completion of all
16 modules.

Format: Each class meets on a Friday or Saturday from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
Douglas Motter, MBA, BS, NHA – Mr. Motter is President of
Homestead Village, a large CCRC located in Lancaster, PA.
Review Course: A two-day review course is offered
following each 16 module course – April 21 & 22
November 10 & 11. Tuition for this course, including
all materials is $350.

Tuition: $130 per module or $2,000 for all 16 modules
if you register and pay prior to the first day of class.
Tuition Savings:
There are two ways to save money when registering.
1. Register and pay for all 16 modules one week prior
to the first day of class and pay only $2,000.
2. Register and pay for all 16 modules and the Review
Course one week prior to the start of the modules
and pay only $2,330 – a $100 savings.
Make-up Days (due to inclement weather, instructor illness, etc.):
April 7 & 8 and November 3 & 4.
Payment is required to complete your registration. Deadline
is one week prior to each class. Confirmation of registration
including a map and parking pass will be sent to each registrant. Refunds will be issued for cancellations made at least
two business days prior to the beginning of the class. Refund
request must be in writing.
