Dickerson’s goal is to teach individuals how to start balancing their professional and personal ambitions. She believes
by properly seeing a vision and setting yourself up to succeed, you will. Dickerson will walk you through the steps
you need to implement in order to bring FOCUS to your daily life. She will be sharing the keys and tools to make you
more productive, efficient, and happier both in the office and at home! Not just motivational, you will walk away with
resources and the knowledge that will show you how to obtain success on a daily basis.
FULL ABSTRACT:
Starts with asking questions. What are you having for dinner tonight? Do you have any bills that are pending or due
soon? What does your to-do list look like? What are your plans this weekend? How is your son getting to practice?
Will you have met your sales goals this month.
**** these questions will be targeted depending on the audience.
We are all pulled in a million different directions. Wouldn’t you agree that our goal is to do something we love and are
good at that supports a life that we want to live. Habits and routines that you do daily are what will allow you to build
a life you want to live. If you are someone that is struggling with implementation, not having enough time in the day,
or if you are someone that is ready to take it up a notch I will show you how. I am going to give you solutions.
I know all the struggles well. I have not always balanced my personal and professional ambitions but I found out very
quickly I had to figure out how. I will be sharing my struggles and the struggles of others it is my goal for you to leave
here inspired and with solutions on how to set yourself up to succeed on a daily basis.

How to Set Goals Properly. (SMART)

• We will Define Success. (often overlooked step.) Don’t look at others. Don’t compare.
• Saying No
If it is something that doesn’t align with your goals and you get asked it is okay to say no.
• Take care of you

The number one person you have to take care of for all this to work is YOU. Don’t you agree that if you are
happier… everything else in your life has a better chance. When you get more done, when you have control
over the things happening in your life you will achieve success daily which will have you reaching your dreams.
• We will talk about Organization and how it plays a role in our daily lives.
Organize and Declutter - Allows you to think clearer. I really think if you have something on the back
of your mind that you need to do but you just keep pushing it off it will weigh you down. • Be Efficient
You will not be efficient unless you are organized. You will spend time looking for items. **I think this would be
valuable with action steps, I’ve given examples below:

So what to organize?
• Your Office even if it is just a desk. Make it a creative space. • Tidy your desk and clean your email box 15 min before you leave each night
• Set aside 1 hr at the beg/end of each week to go through piles
• Your home. Yes your closet, your kitchen, everything in your home. Something that has been weighing me
down was my closet. I had ten years of cloths that basically I could not part with. I literally had to bring in
backup to help me go through it all. • Digital files. I will show you how I organize files really fast. I use dropbox for files and for pictures and other
documents I back up via crash plan. It is just important to establish a system and stick to it. Share my Resources.

Manage Your Schedule. And have hard limits. • Wake Up Early
• Priorities and To-Do List
• Prepping where possible
• Time Blocks for meetings (personal and business)
• Time for brainstorming/work
• Schedule in time for yourself, i.e. workout, time with friends, etc..
DO NOT make a habit of scheduling over “you” time
Establish Workflows - If you do it more than twice… create a workflow.
Automate - When you create workflows is there any areas you can automate.
Apps/software that can do something for you for a small fee. Is the ROI there?

make files “to do” “to pay” “taxes” “coupons” etc so that you can sort/organize your piles

Delegate/Outsource - Are there any areas of a workflow that you can delegate? If you have a business
partner, office assistant, or anyone else you work alongside. (Kids are GREAT for delegating chores — Is your
Templates - Can you create Templates for emails, for anything that you do over and over. I currently use
Dropbox for files but for anything text related I use Evernote. If it is an email that you get often. * Entrepreneurs only*
Importance of Brand Organization (logo - website- branding)
Last but not least if you are someone that is pursuing a passion for profit make sure your brand is organized.
Is what you are displaying, will is resonate with consumers? Could be simple as headshots. Do you have a
great logo? I created my own first logo and it was hideous. Is your website organized for efficiency? Does it
display the proper information to filter the right clients? Is it mobile friendly. 38% of our buyers are mobile. We all have limited time and limited resources. By simplifying your life, and maximizing your productivity
through scheduling, creating workflows, being healthy and ultimately through focusing, you will find balance.
In order to Start Balancing you have to be efficient and productive as possible both in and outside the home.
They work in tandem. If you are stressed home wouldn’t you agree it carries over to work and vice versa.
YOU CAN BALANCE through organization and planning set yourself up to ………. (loop in title) ie. skyrocket sales.
