The January 1, 1975 increase for firefighters is an interim
adjustment pending settlement of 1975 contracts covering fire
departments in the lower mainland area. When the lower mainland
contracts are settled the Employer will adjust wage rates effective
January 1, 1975, where necessary, taking into consideration the shift
differential and statutory holiday provisions provided in the
Lower Mainland Contracts.
