make our durable dog toys. Buoyant, pliable and
designed to be recycled, Zogoflex creates virtually
no waste during our manufacturing process.
Zogoflex is non-toxic and FDA compliant (meaning

Recommend The Right Toy For Your Customer.
For some customers, choosing a dog toy can be confusing. Here are some
questions to ask so you can recommend the most appropriate toy:
- What size dog do they have?
(suggest MINI, SMALL or REGULAR/LARGE sized toy accordingly)
- Does the customer often play with them or is the dog alone a lot?
(suggest a PLAY or CHEW toy accordingly)
- Does the dog chew the owner’s belongings (shoes, socks, furniture)?
(suggest a CHEW toy: Hurley, Jive, Tux)
- Will the dog play fetch?
(suggest Jive , Tizzi , Zisc or Bumi )

Not only is it impor tant to suggest the right type of toy for the dog, (CHEW or
PLAY) but also the appropriate size (mini, small or regular/large)! Supervising their
dog’s use of Zogoflex toys, until they’re confident the dog can play with the toy
safely, is ver y impor tant.

Always educate customers that if their dog is one of the few that can damage the
toy they should discontinue use. Suggest they take advantage of our one-time
replacement or refund guarantee.

What do we mean by Guaranteed Tough?
If a customer’s dog was able to damage our Zogoflex toy they may choose to
receive a free one-time replacement or refund!

How does a pet owner receive their replacement?
Two Ways:
1. If a toy has been damaged, the customer can send the toy directly back to West
Paw Design with a quick note to let us know the breed and age of their dog, and
how long it took their dog to damage the toy. (We are constantly working to improve
our products and love the feedback.)
2. You can handle the return in your store. Simply refund or exchange your customer’s
purchase and send us back the toy(s). Let us know what was returned and we will
issue a credit to your account to apply to your next order.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my dog destroys or ingests part of a Zogoflex® dog toy?
Zogoflex is non-toxic and FDA compliant (meaning even people can safely eat off of it).
If the dog is able to destroy a Zogoflex dog toy, it should be immediately removed. As
is the case with most non-food items that are ingested by a dog, pieces of Zogoflex
can pass through without harm. While Zogoflex is inert and nontoxic, non-food items
have the potential to get lodged in the digestive tract. If the dog has swallowed a piece
of the toy, a veterinarian should be called. Please remind customers that their dog’s
safety is their responsibility. They should not leave their dog unsupervised with any new
toy until they closely observe the dog’s behavior.

Can I let my dog chew on Tizzi if I’m not home?
While Tizzi and the other PLAY toys, (Bumi and Zisc ) are made of the same, safe,
durable and non-toxic materials as the CHEW line, Tizzi is for supervised and
interactive play between a pet owner and their pet. West Paw Design recommends
always supervising your dog with any toy.

What is Zogoflex® and how is it recyclable if it’s a no. 7 plastic?
Zogoflex is amazingly tough material that is buoyant, pliable and designed to be
recycled. Zogoflex ® does not contain, nor does any of its components contain, any known
sources of lead, cadmium, mercury, latex, rubber, phthalates, hormones, Bisphenol A, or
asbestos.
®
No. 7 on plastic simply means “miscellaneous.” Some recycling facilities won’t recycle a
No. 7 plastic but West Paw Design will! Customers should send their Zogoflex toy back
to us to clean, re-grind and turn into a new toy.
