Junction block assembly of door plinths PBi thermally-improved version Plinths and uprights are assembled by means of junction blocks held in position by punch screws to prevent sag. Final assembly is made using dowel pins. Upright bases accommodate plugs providing seamless weather-proofing with brush gaskets on plinths. Identical junction blocks are used to assemble composite mullions and transoms. These sections can be used for integrating casement windows from the FB and FBi range. The thermal bridge is provided by double fibreglassreinforced polyamide strips crimped into each half section (9mm air gap). Same principle on fixed and opening frames. Strips are flush. 3-point espagnolette locks Sections for FB, FBi, PB and PBi composite frames A series of standard and reinforced connector sections can be used to install FB, FBi casements and PB, PBi doors side by side in composite frames. These sections are screwed together. A thread of mastic provides weather seal between frame and connector sections. Bolts slide into opening frame sections and are fixed onto lock system. Water-tight thresholds There are several threshold solutions ranging from spreader bars to tubular thresholds for enhanced water-tightness, designed to suit all site exposure requirements. Electromagnetic locks Whether on open-in or open-out frames, electromagnetic locks are mortised into a fixed section on the inside of the door.
