COMMENDING KEN MORTON
WHEREAS, Ken Morton was instrumental in coordinating the
USA/Russia Junior Golf Exchange sponsored by the Sacramento Area
Youth Golf Association, at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course in the City
of Sacramento; and
WHEREAS, Ken worked to design a program that would further the
goal of bringing together a global, cultural learning experience
between the youth of Russia and the USA through the game of golf;
and
WHEREAS, the participants were able to participate in the
USA/Russia Junior Golf Exchange because of their golfing
excellence, dedication, spirit and interpersonal skills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Sacramento that we do hereby commend Ken Morton for
his efforts in coordinating the golf exchange and acknowledge the
good will that was created with the USA/Russia Junior Golf
Exchange.

WHEREAS, Carroll Canfield was instrumental in coordinating the USA/Russia
