Desktop Videoconferencing Installation
After Movi/Jabber account has been confirmed and you’ve downloaded
the software, follow these steps to set up Movi/Jabber:
*Please have your Movi/Jabber login and password ready before
beginning these steps. This will be emailed to you.
1. When the installation has been completed, click
Finish. The Cisco TelePresence Movi sign-in screen
will appear.
IMPORTANT: Uncheck “Remember my Username”.
This will uncheck all three boxes.
2. Click on Advanced at the bottom of the box.
Complete the Advanced fields as follows:

Internal VCS: 216.213.254.209
External VCS: 216.213.254.228
SIP Domain: esc11.net
Click OK.
This will take you back to the sign-in screen.
LOGIN: Enter the username and password
that was provided by ESC Region XI staff when
your membership was confirmed.
8. Click Sign In. Movi will now display the user
interface window.

Navigating the Movi interface window
Change your status or
sign out: Click the
green circle and select
your status or sign out.
Check your video: Click
the Show Video button.
Ways to make a call:
1. Enter a video address
(SIP URI Ex:
[email protected])
for a person, an end
point directly, or a
conference number
provided by ESC Region
XI HelpDesk staff. Press
Enter.
2. Click the green
START button next to
any contact in a search,
favorites, or history.
Add a contact to
Favorites: Begin typing
the contact name in the
white box. When the
contact you want to
add appears below,
click it and then click
Add to Favorites.
Tip: To see your own video address,
click your name near the top of the
Movi interface window.
To answer a call:
When someone calls you on Movi, this dialog will appear:
Answer or reject the call by clicking the buttons, or close the dialog using the X to ignore the call
without being visible to the caller.

Trouble Shooting
What if I can’t see my own video/hear my own audio?
Your webcam and headset/speaker-mic may not be selected as the video and audio sources for
Movi. To check this, access the settings.
Click Devices and select your audio and video
sources. Then click OK.
