Laurie and Dr. Michael Mintz hosted the annual VIP party at their lovely Ocean Drive home. As the sun set on Corpus Christi Bay, honorees and other supporters gathered for a Julian Gold and Cavendar’s Boot City style show with the perfect fashions for the big event as well as cocktails and conversation. The honorees of the evening were: Lana and Barry Andrews, The Susser Family Foundation, H-E-B, Pepsi, KIII, and the Corpus Christi Caller Times. I spotted some friends in the fashion show, including Christina Hunter, and some friendly faces in the crowd, such as Gilda and Dick Henderson, Lori Dellinger, and Stephanie Waterman. The fashion show was fabulous, with adorable short sundresses paired with the perfect pair of cowboy boots, and guests had plenty of fun getting ready for the main event March 25 at the Richard Borchard Regional Fairgrounds.
